hello, my name is Nujud Alshahrani I want to apply for Cardiff university, so I want someone help me with the personal statement I’m occupational therapist, since high school I determined to be occupational therapist, There are many health professions in this world. Why then did I choose occupational therapy? Well firstly I love the one-to-one contact that you have with your patients. Were you must understand their needs and find their talents and then help them in doing their hardest to make it grow. I have been work in to pleases when I graduated from king Saud bin Abdul-Aziz for health science I start looking for a job to be independent and enhance my career skills so I work at privet’s center for 6 months in my City after that I got a good opportunity to be a member in one of the big ministry in my country which is ministry of defense , due to the job opportunity is in other city ,I have to convince my family to allow me to go there , finally they said yes ,so I was the first girl in my family that can work and life in other city in her one . in March I will completed one year here. during this year I was in leering a lot and do my best to work hard for my pediatric patient, I work on autism center in Armed hospital in Taif city. working as occupational therapist which has always given me great pleasure – to be there for someone who needs me; to help, listen, advise, suggest ways of solving problems and positive action; encourage, nurture, teach and even to engage in activities with children at certain times in their lives to help motivate them. Now that I have a second chance in life to study; to choose a vocation which I am passionate about – something rewarding, challenging, inspiring, enjoyable and most of all where I would be able to do good, help people empower themselves, change their lives. studying occupational therapy (MSc) program will help me to be better occupational therapist. I’ve always been very sociable and made friends with people of all ages and walks of life, mainly due to my sense of humor, general affability, and interest in others. Of late it has given me pleasure to help my own friends by teaching one to drive, supporting friends with children by organizing outings with them, and helping a friend who was very unhappy with her weight by motivating her to go biking/walking/to the gym with me and suggesting easy diet changes. I have friends within this sector and talking to them has only strengthened my belief that this is something I very much want to do and would be very good at – plus they seem to think I would make a great OT too!
