The Role of Race in a Specific Piece

Choose one of the following listening examples:
Black Snake Moan, Brazil, Nagüe, God Bless the Child, or The Sun Didnt Shine.
For this week’s paper, write about how race, religion, and nationality have had an effect on this piece of music. Has the piece been covered later in order to change that sound? Were there visual differences that defined the music? Were special instruments used to give it a certain sound?
